What can 24 indoor air quality sensors tell you about a single building? In this talk, I walk through a whole-building IAQ study measuring CO2, temperature, relative humidity, PM2.5, and VOCs from 1.5 feet off the floor to 27 feet up at the ridge.
Instead of the old approach of pasting Excel graphs into slides, the entire analysis and every visualization was built with Claude Code. That let the sensor data go beyond charts into real diagnoses: effective air changes per hour, infiltration rates, dew point behavior, and CO2 stratification across the space.
Highlights include 14–27 CFM per person and 3.3 air changes per hour in the sanctuary, dew point problems isolated to specific rooms, a room-by-room look at particulate filtration and MERV performance, a (very unscientific) men's-vs-women's bathroom air quality challenge, and a new "most engaged speaker" award based on peak CO2.
