(Stephanie Taylor, 2026 Westford Symposium)

Stephanie Taylor, MD, MArch is the founder and CEO of Building4Health and an ASHRAE Distinguished Lecturer on indoor air quality and health. In this talk from the Westford Symposium, she walks through live CO2, PM2.5, particle-count, and relative-humidity readings from the room and connects them to a "digital human" model that shows which organs and health outcomes are affected as indoor conditions shift. She also covers building-microbiome research done with Harvard's Ping Gao, and takes audience questions on CO2 as an air-quality proxy, UVC disinfection, and the hygiene hypothesis.
