As product manager of the air and moisture barrier division of Sto Corp., John Chamberlin is committed to Sto’s slogan “Building with Conscience.”  John is responsible for Sto’s StoGuard and StoEnergy Guard line of products and systems, working closely with R&D and technical departments to bring new innovations to the market.  Since their invention of the first fluid-applied air and moisture barrier system, Sto Corp. has continued to develop new ways of improving long term building performance.  Mr. Chamberlin has focused on bringing heat, air, and moisture management solutions to all types of construction, establishing Sto as a leader in building envelope solutions.

Mr. Chamberlin has worked in the building products industry for his entire career.  Immediately after graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Tennessee, Chamberlin went to work with BlueLinx as a product manager for forest products and high performance structural products such as radiant barrier sheathings.  After completing his M.B.A. at Emory University, Chamberlin became the product manager for Sto Corp.’s StoPowerwall and StoQuik Silver stucco and cement board stucco systems before ultimately taking over as the product manager for the StoGuard air and moisture barrier systems.

Mr. Chamberlin is actively involved in the building industry, including serving as a member of multiple committees with the Air Barrier Association of America.
