The Denver, CO house is a two story, four bedroom, one-and-a-half bath single-family house with a conditioned crawlspace designed for Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver located in Denver, CO (Cold Climate). It features a vented attic with R-38 unfaced batt/ blown cellulose insulation. The walls consist of 2 layers of 1” XPS rigid insulation with staggered and taped seams and R-19 unfaced batt insulation in the stud cavities, with R-19 unfaced batt insulation at the rim joist. The garage ceiling is insulated with 2 layers of ½” XPS rigid insulation with staggered seams and truss cavity insulation. The crawlspace wall is insulated with 1 ½” foil-faced polyisocyanurate rigid insulation on the interior.
